Disney fans can watch Pixar movies and TV shows online using several cord-cutting streaming options. As of 2019, there are several options that offer some or all of Disney’s Pixar library, including Disney Plus, Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV, AT&T TV Now, and YouTube TV. Netflix and STARZ also carry some Pixar movies and TV shows, although Disney may eventually pull content from these services after the release of Disney Plus.

Keep reading to get the details about watching Pixar movies and tv shows live in 2019, or click the banner below to use our Cord-Cutter Express tool. Just answer a few quick questions and we’ll match you to the perfect streaming service, taking into account all of your watching preferences.

Disney Plus watch Pixar movies and TV shows online 2019

As of November 2019, you can watch every single Pixar movie and TV show online through Disney+ (or Disney Plus). This new streaming service from Disney comes in at a low price and includes hundreds of Disney’s original content produced over the past 80+ years.

Disney+ Pricing and Packages

You can get Disney Plus through two subscription options:

  • $6.99 per month
  • $69.99 per year

The yearlong subscription saves you around $14 per year (2 months free). If you plan to use Disney Plus for all it’s worth, the yearlong subscription makes a lot of sense. Otherwise, sign up for the monthly option to give yourself some elbow room if you need to cancel or suspend your account for a few months.

Disney also plans to offer a $14.99 per month bundle deal that includes streaming access to Disney Plus, Hulu on-demand, and ESPN Plus.

Disney+ Channels

Disney Plus works similarly to other standalone streaming options, like Netflix or HBO. Instead of separate channels, you can select from different categories and stream individual shows or movies.

Note that while Disney does offer separate cable TV channels, Disney+ will not let you watch live streams of those channels (Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney XD). However, TV shows and other content from Disney’s cable channels will be available to stream on-demand.

Disney+ Supported Devices

This new service is available to stream on a large number of devices. After signing up, you can install and stream Disney Plus on Android and iOS devices, web browsers like Chrome and Safari, and several TV-connected streaming devices, among many others.

The full list of apps includes:

  • TV streaming media players: Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast
  • Smart TVs: Android TV, Roku TV
  • Game consoles: Xbox One
  • Mobile devices and tablets: Android, iOS, and iPadOS
  • Desktop browsers: Most popular Mac and PC browsers

Disney+ Simultaneous Streams

Disney plans to allow users to stream on up to 4 devices at once. Additionally, you’ll be able to download content from Disney Plus on up to 10 different devices.

Disney+ DVR

As this is an on-demand streaming service, you won’t find any DVR option available through Disney Plus.

Disney+ On-Demand Library

Disney released all of the content available on its service at launch through a series of 600 Twitter posts. Pretty much every Disney animated film and TV show, including Pixar movies and TV shows, will be available to stream on Disney Plus. Some Pixar films are still locked to other streaming services due to prior agreements, so you may have to wait a few months before the newest Pixar films, like Coco, migrate over to Disney Plus.

watch pixar movies and tv shows online 2019 through hulu with live tv

Disney still offers Pixar movies and TV shows through its live TV channels. You can watch content as it airs or on-demand through Hulu with Live TV. What’s more, because Disney effectively owns Hulu, you can expect more Disney content to be available through this service than its competitors.
