You can watch Fox Sports West & Prime Ticket live without cable using one of the following sources: Hulu + Live TV or AT&T TV Now. In this article, we’ll help you decide which streaming option is best for you. We’ll also explain why your options are so limited, and what alternatives you might want to explore.  Let’s get started!

Before we start, we want to highlight a particularly relevant stream in these uncertain times. Sling TV is one of the best options for streaming in 2020 with a rich catalogue of 50+ live channels and 50k+ on-demand movies and episodes.

For a limited time, you get Showtime, Starz, and Epix add-ons FREE ($24 worth of Premium TV for 30 days).

With only two options on the table to watch YES Network live without cable this year, we can’t recommend Hulu + Live TV highly enough. It’s not only one of the best cord-cutting options for live TV on the market, but it’s also a significantly more cost-friendly option compared to the alternative (AT&T TV Now). You’ll also find some nice features to the service that could make it an even more obvious pick.

Hulu + Live TV differs from AT&T TV now significantly in pricing. With Hulu + Live TV, you’ll get 65+ channels for $54.99 per month. There’s also just one package of channels available to subscribers. This may be beneficial for those who don’t want the hassle of sifting through package options, or who don’t want to pay more just to access must-have sports networks.

Hulu + Live TV Channels

YES Network is just one of the 65+ channels you’ll get through Hulu + Live TV. Other networks available in the package include popular national sports networks like ESPN, Fox Sports, CBS Sports Network, the Olympic Channel, and BTN. Hulu + Live TV also carres major entertainment channels, including Discovery Channel, HGTV, Disney Channel, and TBS.

This service offers local broadcast networks and regional sports networks everywhere it’s available, but the networks you get will vary by zip code. Enter your zip code into the Hulu + Live TV home page to determine the exact line-up of channels you’ll receive.

Hulu + Live TV Supported Devices

You can stream Hulu + Live TV through a large number of supported devices. The most commonly-used TV-connected media players (Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, and Roku) all have supported apps. There are also apps for Android-based streaming boxing. Hulu + Live TV is also the only live TV streaming service that has an app on the Nintendo Switch gaming console.

  • TV streaming media players: Apple TV (4th gen and up), Amazon Fire TV and TV Stick, Chromecast and Roku (most models)
  • Smart TVs: LG TV (select models), Samsung TV (select models), Android TV and Roku TV
  • Mobile devices and tablets: Android (5.0 and up), iOS (11 and up), Amazon Fire (tablets)
  • Game consoles: Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox 360

Hulu + Live TV Simultaneous Streams

Simultaneous streaming comes in two flavors with Hulu + Live TV. The first is what you get standard with each subscription: the option to stream on two devices at once, as long as they’re both connected to your home network.

Hulu + Live TV also offers a unique Unlimited Screens add-on. With this add-on, you can stream on any number of supported devices that are connected to your home internet (WiFi or Ethernet). This add-on also allows you to stream on up to three devices at once that are outside of your home network, making it the only service of its kind with that allowance.

Hulu + Live TV DVR

All subscriptions come with a 50-hour cloud DVR. You can expand your storage to 200 hours with an available Enhanced DVR add-on.

Save money by bundling the Enhanced DVR and Unlimited Screens add-ons.

There are currently over 85,000 TV show episodes and movies ready to stream through Hulu + Live TV. The massive on-demand library comes from two parts.

First, the live TV channels all offer some content through the service’s on-demand feature. Get access to both current and past season episodes, and movies from available channels.

The second on-demand area is through Hulu’s original on-demand streaming service, which you gain immediate access to with Hulu + Live TV. That includes the entire library of hit original content.

There are no two ways about it here; if you opt for AT&T TV Now as your go-to option to watch YES Network live without cable in 2020, you’re going to pay more than if you’d opted for Hulu + Live TV. Nevertheless, the service and the package you need for YES Network may have some fringe benefits that make it worth the cost for some subscribers.

AT&T TV Now Pricing and Packages

Unlike Hulu + Live TV, AT&T TV Now has multiple pricing tiers across its half a dozen channel packages. The introductory PLUS package offers 45+ channels for $55 per month. That option does not include YES Network. Your best option to get YES Network through AT&T TV Now is to subscribe to the MAX package, at $80 per month.

Yes, that’s a big price increase over the PLUS package, and a significant price difference compared to Hulu + Live TV. But the value for some subscribers is in two areas: HBO channels in the package, and the addition of full access to AT&T’s new well-regarded streaming service, HBO MAX

AT&T TV Now Channels

The MAX subscription package comes with 65+ channels. As noted, that includes full access to watch YES Network live without cable. It also delivers HBO, HBO Family, and HBO Latino; multiple other sports networks, like ESPN, Fox Sports, Tennis Channel, and SEC Network; entertainment channels like SYFY, FX, and HGTV; and news networks like FOX News, MSNBC, and CNN.

The MAX package also offers local broadcast networks, with regional variations. Most areas will get local networks for CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, and MyNetworkTV, among others.

AT&T TV Now Supported Devices

Your subscription to AT&T TV Now gives you access to a wide selection of supported apps. Every popular TV-connected streaming device, including the Amazon Fire TV Stick and Roku, have apps you can download and log into with your credentials. Unfortunately, this service has no gaming console apps in its app catalog.

  • TV streaming media players: Apple TV (4th gen and up, 5th gen and up for 4K), Amazon Fire TV (2nd gen and up, 1st gen for Cube), Chromecast (2nd gen and up), Roku (most models)
  • Smart TVs: Samsung TV (2017 and 2018 models), Android TV (4.4 and up), Roku TV (7000X), Mi TV, Amazon Fire TV Edition smart TV (2nd gen and up), Chromecast Built-in TV
  • Gaming consoles: None
  • Mobile devices and tablets: Android (5.0 and up),  iOS (10 and up), Amazon Fire (tablets)
  • Desktop browsers: Chrome and Safari recommended

AT&T TV Now Simultaneous Streams

All subscriptions carry a two-device limit on simultaneous streaming. You can increase the streaming limit to three devices with a $5 per month add-on to your subscription.

To get around this limit, use your AT&T TV Now log-in credentials to live stream through available TV Everywhere apps and services. Using TV Everywhere apps won’t count against your device streams, making it easier  to extend your streaming options with a larger household.

Your subscription comes with a 20-hour cloud DVR. All videos you record to the DVR will also expire in 30 days. (AT&T TV Now is reportedly beta testing a large DVR service, although there is no confirmed date as to when this may roll out to all subscribers.)

AT&T TV Now On-Demand Library

Thanks to the large number of available channels and the addition of HBO MAX and HBO channels to the package, you’ll find an on-demand library that’s equivalent to Hulu + Live TV in size. The quality may even be better than what’s available through Hulu + Live TV thanks to the high-quality content available from HBO and HBO MAX.

How to Watch YES Network on Amazon Fire TV

You can watch YES Network on Amazon Fire TV with one of these streaming services: Hulu + Live TV or AT&T TV Now. Every Amazon Fire TV device supports these apps, as well, to include Fire TV Stick devices and the newest entry, Amazon Fire TV Cube.

How to Watch YES Network on Roku

You can watch YES Network on Roku with one of these streaming services: Hulu + Live TV or AT&T TV Now. If you’re setting up a new Roku device to watch with YES Network, be on the lookout for Roku scams that attempt to get you to pay to set up a new device. All Roku device setup is free, although you do need to enter payment details into your Roku account.

How to Watch YES Network on Apple TV

You can watch YES Network on Apple TV with one of these streaming services: Hulu + Live TV or AT&T TV Now. You can install the app manually, or ask Siri to find and install the app you want for you.

YES Network Alternative for NY Yankees Baseball Games

You can still watch NY Yankees baseball games without YES Network. Just subscribe to MLB.TV, the MLB’s official streaming service for out-of-market baseball games.

There are two pricing tiers:

  • $59.99/year for every team’s out-of-market games
  • $29.99/year for a single team’s out-of-market games

If you live in the NY Yankees broadcast area, but still want access to NY Yankees games through MLB.TV, consider using a VPN like ExpressVPN to bypass blackout restrictions.

YES Network Alternative Brooklyn Nets and NY Liberty Basketball Games

Local Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty WNBA games are broadcast exclusively through Yes Network. However, you can still access Brooklyn Nets games if you subscribe to NBA League Pass. For NY Liberty games, subscribe to WNBA League Pass.

There are four pricing tiers for the NBA League Pass:

  • $29.99/year for access to games that broadcast on NBA TV
  • $59.99/year for a single team’s out-of-market games
  • $99.99/year for access to all teams’ games
  • $124.99/year for commercial-free access to all teams’ games

The WNBA League Pass is available for just $16.99/year for all teams’ games.

Blackout restrictions still apply regardless of which option you pick. To bypass blackout restrictions on NBA League Pass or WNBA League Pass, connect to a VPN before logging into your account.

Yes Network Alternative for NYC FC Soccer Games

YES Network is the primary carrier for NYC FC soccer games. However, NYC FC games will also appear on the following sports networks:

  • ESPN
  • ESPN2
  • Fox Sports 1
  • UniMás

All of these networks are now available through fuboTV. You can get ESPN, ESPN2, Fox Sports 1, and UniMás when you sign up for the standard $59.99/month Standard subscription.

Why Can’t I Use FuboTV or YouTube TV?

Although both fuboTV and YouTube TV are major cord-cutting options for sports fans, neither carry YES Network in their packages at this time. You can find a plethora of sports channels on both fuboTV and YouTube TV, including ESPN2 and Fox Sports 2 for some NYC FC soccer games.

YouTube TV also formerly carried YES Network in its package. However, the service dropped support for YES Network in March 2020 after signing a new deal with Sinclair Broadcast Group.

For the time being, if you want to watch YES Network live without cable, and don’t want to use an alternative service like MLB.TV or NBA League Pass, Hulu + Live TV and AT&T TV Now are your only options. If this situation changes, we will update our list to include any new options that may cover
