How to Install Apollo Build on Kodi Krypton

This is a simple Guide on How To Install Apollo Build on Kodi

The Apollo build is amongst the best builds available on Kodi, as it also includes so many high quality add-ons that you will have enough free content to last you forever! This build is easy to install as it is available through the Ares Wizard.

To install the latest version of the Apollo build please follow these steps:

  1. From Kodi’s home screen navigate to the Gear icon on the top-left corner
  2. Select system settings
  3. Click add-ons
  4. Enable “Unknown Sources”
  5. Click “Yes” when prompted
  6. Go back one time
  7. Go to “File Manager”
  8. Click “Add Source”
  9. Select <none>
  10. Enter the following URL:  http://ares-repo.eu/
  11. Give the source a name you will remember e.g. Apollo
  12. Click OK
  13. Go back to the main menu
  14. Go to Add-ons
  15. Click the install add-on box in the top left corner
  16. Select “Install from Zip File”
  17. Select the source you created earlier e.g. “Apollo”
  18. Go to the “repository.aresproject” folder and then install the “repository.aresproject.zip” file.
  19. Wait for it to install (Notification will appear in the top right corner – This may take a few minutes depending on how busy the server is, just wait patiently)
  20. Install from repository, Ares Project, Ares Wizard and Install
  21. Go back to the main menu
  22. Select add-ons
  23. Select Program add-ons
  24. Open the “Area Wizard” Addon
  25. Now select your build e.g. Apollo. 
  26. Click Get build PIN from here (if required) http://bit.ly/getbuildpin
  27. Enter the PIN
  28. Go to the bottom, find the Apollo Build and Install.
  29. Wait for the download to automatically download, extract and install.
  30. If you are on a non-android device your Kodi Krypton will automatically close, if you are on an android device like an Amazon Firestick you will have to unplug your device’s power and then turn it back on again.
  31. Re-open kodi
  32. Important: Wait around 5 minutes for the build to fully load and update. Trying to use the build straightaway will cause it to be laggy/buffer or crash while it tries to update.
