How To install Chappie Build

  1. From Kodi’s home screen go to the Gear icon at the top-left corner
  2. Select System settings
  3. Click add-ons
  4. Enable “Unknown Sources”
  5. Click “Yes” when prompted
  6. Go back one time
  7. Go to “File Manager”
  8. Click “Add Source”
  9. Select the URL Box
  10. Enter the following URL:  http://aw.ares-project.com/
  11. Give the source a name you will remember e.g. Chappie
  12. Click OK
  13. Go back to the main menu
  14. Go to Add-ons
  15. Click the Box icon in the top left corner
  16. Select “Install from Zip File”
  17. Select the source you created earlier e.g. “Chappie
  18. Go to the “repository.aresproject” folder and then install the “repository.aresproject.zip” file.
  19. Wait for it to install (Notification will appear in the top right corner – This may take a few minutes depending on how busy the server is, just wait patiently)
  20. Install from repository, Ares Project, Ares Wizard and Install
  21. Go back to the main menu
  22. Select add-ons
  23. Select Program add-ons
  24. Open the “Ares Wizard” Addon
  25. Now select your build e.g. Chappie
  26. Click “Get build PIN” from here (if required) http://bit.ly/getbuildpin
  27. Enter the PIN
  28. Go to the bottom, find the Chappie Build and Install.
  29. Wait for the download to automatically download, extract and install.
  30. If you are on a non-android device your Kodi will automatically close, if you are on an android device like an Amazon Firestick you will have to unplug your device’s power and then turn it back on again.
  31. Re-open kodi
  32. Important: Wait around 5 minutes for the build to fully load and update. Trying to use the build straightaway will cause it to be laggy/buffer or crash while it tries to update.
